The aim of this project was to retrofit an old electric shop into a new restaurant. In an attempt to establish a new definition of the interior and the exterior elements, all the typical elements commonly used in a restaurant space were eliminated in the design process. The main design criterion was to create an integrated system starting from the exterior façade and extending to the interior space to form not only the architectural surfaces (façade, walls, ceiling, etc.), but also all the fundamental interior elements of the restaurant such as, tables, chairs, decorations, electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as lighting. Another important design consideration was to create a variety of aesthetic experiences by modifying lights, colors, and spatial qualities inside and outside the restaurant.
